Yayy. Finally. Finally. ANd not early at all. FINALLY,
The Holidays are here!!!! xD
But i got quite a lot of holiday training. waha. x( And my ma says they will be getting the key to the new house on 2nd June, so we'll be moving in and stuff. :) ANd do you know what is happeneing on 2nd June??

WEll. This week was a week full of FUN!! yes. FUN!! ( and a little bit of tiring out. :P) It was SABBATICALS WEEK!!
I took Food Chemistry and Personal Effectiveness. Both were quite enjoyable. xD yayy. Let's do a listing of my daily sabbacticals activities. yayy. i love listing.
Monday
Personal Effectiveness:
-Personal Hygiene
Seriously I had to sleep through this one. All so boring. x(
-Nail Art
YAYY. We played with cuticle remover and they gave us a cuticle stick each! Also we put on stickers on our nails(but i think budget too low le, so each person only 2. haix.) and applied a transparent colour nail polish. yayy.
Food Chemistry:
First up was a LONG (you bet. It was VERY LONG.) Speech about the safety in the lab. waha. Then after that...
-The Magical Colours of Red Cabbage
Weee. YOu could see the colours. woww. This was fun. Especially the part where we 'cook' (cough. June says I was like cooking it. BUt well, scientifically, we were supposed to be heating it.) the red cabbage to get its purple colour. woww.
-Fizz Whizz Soda Pop Reaction.
Woww. This was VERY FUN. Except the part about tasting the different taste of the drink after adding the different stuff into it. HORRID. But the sprite plus the magic colour crystals stuff taste VERY NICE. (but it is VERY acidic. And guess what?? the magic colour crystals were actually the juice of the red cabbage. seriously. HOW DID IT TASTE NICE?? tell me my taste buds are okay.)
We were supposed to do another experiment on the effect of pH on Cranberry Juice. But. well. We ran out of time. hee. ( must be the boring talk on lab safety. ew.)
Tuesday
Personal Effectiveness:
All we did was first aid. ha. well I went back to class bandaged and all my squardmates went up to me(they always come to our classroom before CCA) and told me to go home because i was injured in my arm. HAHA. Imagine that.
Food Chemistry:
-Effect of Heat and pH on Frozen peas
Waha. This is very weird. You keep heating peas. waha. ANd add chemicals. ANd because June was in charge amongst the both of us of measuring stuff, so i collected peas. Yes. You bet it was lots of peas i weighed. waha. ANyway, June kept saying it smells like preserved vege. hee.
-Paper Chromatography on natural Pigments
haix. This didn' t turn out as fun as i had expected. It was just meshing spinach and strawberry to get dyes.
-Demonstration on Thin Layer Chromatography
ha. This is BORING. Cause we only listened and Watch the instructor do. waha. And we didn't even get to see the results. haix.
Wednesday
Personal Effectiveness:(waha. typing this is making me feel bored and letargic.)
All we did was PARCHMENT CRAFT. Which is, VERY NICE. wee. BUt a bad thing was they didn't allow us to take home with us the tools. BOO. SO well, if i want to do again next time, I'd have to get the stuff myself. x( waha.
Food Chemistry:
-Isolation of Cholestrol from eggs.
YOU BETTER BE HAPPY YOU WEREN'T THERE. THe smell WAS HORRIBLE. Eggy. ew. But still, it was pretty fun. hee.
- Fats in Milk
Wee. THiS IS FUN. Except the colour dyes stained my hongzi so i had to go to the general office to borrow a hongzi. waha
Thursday
Personal Effectiveness. (bored and sian of writing this.)
SKIN CARE. Yes. WE cleased, toned and moisturised. AND EVEN SCRUBBED AND MASKED. Wee. I used the egg white mask(cause i love natural skin care stuff better than commercial ones.yepp.) and it was fun. WE put the cucumber on our eyes too!! (I was asking Jia xin why we had to put the cucumber on our eyes when doing the mask but she was like, "ehnn. ermm. wehd." ha.)
Food Chemistry:
- Caffeine Crystals from beverages.
wEe. Fun. Except that my wrist hurts from shaking the lipton tea. Waha. ANd this experiment TOok VERY LONG. very.
- Making INk from tea.
Fun. I chose peach tea and June chose blueberry tea. And we made ink and used the ink to write our report sheets. xD The ink was permenant so the instructors kept warning us to be careful in case the ink stained our uniform.
Friday boo. last day of sabbaticals.
Personal Effectiveness: (wee. last time writing this.)
Relaxation Strategies. WE had massage, aromatheraphy and a 'how to calm your breathing down' session at the Judo Room of the Boarding School. yayy. I love the session at the Judo Room. It made me feel very at ease. woww.
FOod Chemistry:
WE had Jam making Competition!! I wanted to make Peach Jam. But June wanted Blueberries. So ha. We MIXED BOTH OF THEM.yayy. And it is nice. (sweet but nice.) FOr once, I didn't care about the amount of calories in that jam and i ate... ALOT. xP. wee. ANd very nice of June. She didn't want the Jam so i took ALL OF IT home!! yumm yumm.
Well. Holidays are here. weee. Today went to take Report Book. waha. You won't believe the poor results of mine. :(

WAHA. BELOW AVERAGE. But glad that this is an A. Because i was very well expecting a B3. yess. BUT 1 MORE MARK TO A1. WHY. WHY WON't YOU JUST LET ME GET ONE MORE A1!!!! Mr Tan i promise to work hard. I HOPE NEXT TIMe it will be a ABOVE AVERAGE!!

SEE! SEE! SEE! THE CURSE STRIKES. 1 more mark!! A1!! WHY. WHY. WHY!!! Ms Khoo gave me a good grade for Geography. really. Really good. But my history sucks. That is why i am like this. :( MS ONG. HElp me. I WIll Work HARD!!
