MORE!
9:45 AM
Friday, December 02, 2005 I thought that some of you might find that friendship bracelet a bit tough and too time taking or too many strings. So today, i found a far more easier one for guys who like simple yet nice things.Of course it isn't as nice as the previous one ( that is wat i think), this is not bad too! This friendship bracelet is a simple one that can be done with kind of cord, strings, embroidery floss etc. IF you have too many beads to spare you might want to knot in a few beads in the middle...(but i don't think the effect is good.) You Need: 6' of Rainbow Satin Cord Four Mini Pony Beads Masking Tape Scissors Again, the measurement 6' is not vital, so as long as you can make it fit you or your friends' wrist! As for mini pony beads, if you don't have, you can use big ones, so as long as they fit! Instructions: 1.Fold cord so you have one 1' length and one 5' length. Tie a knot at the fold to form a 1/2" loop. If you are not sure with the measurements, perhaps you can take a 60cm string and do 10cm in replacement of 1' and 50cm for 5' and so on. 2.Your 1' length with be your holding cord and the 5' cord will be your working cord. Tape the looped fold to your work surface and the end of your holding cord to the table. You must make sure you tie a loop on the first step, or you won't be able to wear it! It is simple, just bend in the string(with the correct measurements at each side) and tie a knot! ![]() 3.Make a knot by laying your working cord over top of the holding cord; then passing it underneath the holding cord and through to loop formed. Pull snugly. Continue knotting, letting the cord twist naturally as you work. Be careful to always knot in the same direction. Ya i know that it a bit complicated, but it means you tie knot from top and then bottom then top then bottom and so on... when i say top and bottom i mean of the holding cord. 4.When you have a long enough bracelet to fit around you wrist, string two mini pony beads onto each end. Trim ends. Tie on your wrist by drawing one end through before knotting. That is a simple one... i will show you what it means with a picture:
And to give credits, i would just like to say i learnt this from :
OK so long, till i teach you guys stuff again! :P |
